It's beautiful - and we haven't even done anything to it yet. Work that paint. I really believe that if you practice enough you could paint the 'Mona Lisa' with a two-inch brush. Every single thing in the world has its own personality - and it is up to you to make friends with the little rascals. See there how easy that is. We're not trying to teach you a thing to copy. We're just here to teach you a technique, then let you loose into the world. Just let go - and fall like a little waterfall. We need dark in order to show light. Let that brush dance around there and play. Look around, look at what we have. Beauty is everywhere, you only have to look to see it. There we are. God gave you this gift of imagination. Use it. Let your imagination be your guide. I get carried away with this brush cleaning. It's all a game of angles. You don't have to spend all your time thinking about what you're doing, you just let it happen. Zip. That easy. Give him a friend, we forget the trees get lonely too. It is a lot of fun. Water's like me. It's laaazy ... Boy, it always looks for the easiest way to do things Clouds are free. They just float around the sky all day and have fun. Look at them little rascals. How do you make a round circle with a square knife? That's your challenge for the day. The shadows are just like the highlights, but we're going in the opposite direction. You need to have a very firm paint to do this. Imagination is the key to painting. Maybe, just to play a little, we'll put a little tree here. A fan brush can be your best friend. Without washing the brush, I'm gonna go right into some Van Dyke Brown, some Burnt Umber, and a little bit of Sap Green. And that's when it becomes fun - you don't have to spend your time thinking about what's happening - you just let it happen. Trees cover up a multitude of sins. If you didn't have baby clouds, you wouldn't have big clouds. Working it up and down, back and forth. This is the fun part
