Welcome to Geography!
"Quick - what's the capital of Missouri?" This is what most people think of when they hear I teach Geography, but as you'll learn this semester, it's much more than that. Geography encompasses social and physical sciences to learn about the environment and all of the living things and processes that make up planet Earth. Yes, you'll need to know your basics (it's Jefferson City, by the way), but by the final exam, you'll be able to answer that question with more details, such as its climate, population and culture.
